About DJ Reebok: The nickname...originated when in the early 80's when Ron bought numerous pairs of Reeboks in different colors when they first were released. His homeboys he used to dance with at Studio K in Knott's Berry Farm (Orange County, CA) were baggin on him saying..."look at him and his Reeboks...it's Reebok Ron...Ha ha ha it's Reebok Ron. Hence...DJ Reebok for many years. DJ Reebok started his dj career at Roaring 20's / Dazzles in Newport Beach, CA off of Newport Blvd. and 17th St. at a very young age. Back then it was unheard of having such a young dj in a 21 and over environment. Moving on...Reebok started promoting and dj'ing with Unity Productions. He started the first Underground House club at Kokomo's in Irvine with his partners Alton, Jason, and Paulie. Then He decided to move on to bigger and better venues in Los Angeles. He played at such clubs as King, Sketch Pad, The Abyss, Shark Club, Does Your Mama Know, Carlos and Charlie's, Peanuts, Arena, etc. with the likes of such names as Taylor, Doc Martin, Fabian, Tony Largo, Paul Davidson, David Alvarado, Andrew D, Quicksilver, Markie Quark, John Bishop, Alex of NY, That Girl, Sandra Collins, Irene, Simply Jeff, Scotty Roo, etc. He has been djing for a total of 22 years now, and you are likely to hear some of his production music very soon. He has now started his production company...Psalt & Battery Productions along with his record labels: AON Records (All Or Nothing Records), and Inambyl Records (It's Not About Me But You Lord) DJ Reebok is now a proud representative of the "Save The Rhythm" Family. Look to hear some of his new Breakbeat and Tribal, or some of his oldies and goodies of Happy House, and High NRG stuff. He now has Many CD's out with the titles "Good Friday 2005", "Live @ Jon's", and "Outta My Hands", "Free", "Birthday Breaks", "Blinded By Beats", and "Shoe Bizness...I am what I am", "Lunch Breaks", and "Subliminal Tones Of Passion" being his latest. You should be able to see him soon in Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles underground events, or at some of the "STR" events.
